Cool sound!

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions!
Going to be played tonight apparently after 9 pm EST, on earsradio.com, so that's cool.

I enjoyed that. Don't know what the label is, but was happy to groove away on it :)

You mentioned that this is a "rescue". Have you tried running this through a Suno AI Cover? ie keep the lyrics and melody as you wrote them, but try for a full production version of it? Not sure of your stance on AI, so hope that isn't an offensi…

This one's got quite a punch to it. Nice work Elvis!
-
Suno's done very well with it. Amazing how it can get breathiness into the vocal now.
Gender switch seems to work fine. Nothing there that felt out of kilter in the slightest.
Good stuff!

Love the lyric. As an example, this line:
that I loved you behind them all
I'm less keen on the melody in this one. It felt a little indistinct to me. At the end of it, I couldn't remember how it went.
As a…

Hello and welcome! This is a lovely song.
I don't know if you are writing for pleasure or aiming for commercial success, but it feels like you've put some effort into the production so I'm going to comment as if it's the latter.
For c…

I don't really follow this one. I don't get the overall meaning. It's got some lovely lines though. I particularly like the part that goes:
"In the streets of ..."
And for me the music is a little similar in that I don't know what moo…

Classic country!

Love the lead on the intro.
Great rhythm as you get into the verses.
I think this one is more about mood than story, and nothing wrong with that! Does it well.
And a great outro too!
-
Susie Almeida has a wonderful voice! And this is lovely. The whole Septet does a great job.
I like those internal rhymes in the verses. So smooth and rewarding to the ear.
Lovely stuff.
-
You've put a lot of thought into the arrangement for this. The syncopated rhythm for the verses for example.
And the nice contrast of the chorus. Longer drawn out notes and chords.
"Tears bleed red" is a really evocative line…
-
Your slow easy style is a good fit to this lyric.
That last verse certainly ups the ante on the weight of the song! Not arguing with the message though.
In v1 "Give it a push no asking why" felt a touch crowded, though not badly. Perh…

I was thinking exactly the same as Elvis! Haven't heard this one in years.
Nice blast from the past :)
-
How could you listen to that without your toes tapping?
What a lovely song to sit down and chill out to.
Put a smile on my face!
-
If this was done by a boy band I can imagine teenagers swooning over it!
Came out really well. Nice change of pace!
-
Nice! Strong driving beat. And a really solid lyric. Really like how v1 brings it immediately into focus. And the changing meanings around "It ain't me" - really polished.
Could be just me, but I think your own voice might suit this better…
-
Enjoyed the syncopation on this one! Nice relaxed vibe to it, which is a good fit I guess for an Ocean Wave!
I like the big sound and the layered vocals too. Great to chillax to.
-
Lovely stuff. My fav lines:
making me moan and whisper
as if I were a guitar
Desire indeed!
-
Nice contrast between the verses and the chorus.
Can't argue with the message! Singing makes me feel better :)
-
Might as well Elvis! Nothing to lose and the potential to be heard.
-
I hadn't heard that one before. Thanks for sharing it!
-
Interesting. Thank for sharing Bill!
-
I love the cynicism in this one, somewhat tempered by the post-chorus. I think it works really well
And the style is perfect. Good write!
-
It's unclear to me which truth you're referring to here, and I think it needs that to punch hard.
There's a few biblical references there, so maybe it's about the emptiness of religion? Probably not the best choice from a commercial standpo…
-
Definitely has potential. No problem starting with the music first
-
What a ripper! I love this. Great feel to it, starting with that strong lyric.
"A bucket full of lessons" is a lovely title and hook. And you've got the mood down perfectly to match it.
Lovely stuff Elvis!
-
Quite a pop vibe in this one!
Very nice Mora! Enjoyed that :)
-
I like it. I think this works very well. Like the dynamic changes in there and the vocal is very smooth.
BTW, would you mind posting the lyric here on TSF as well as the music link please? Makes it much easier to comment on that aspect.
Howdy, Stranger!
