Very good. Love the chorus in particular.
I think you got your 6/8 timing ok.
Good stuff.
-
Rings very true. Feels very real and natural.
-
I like the new length. It feels like you've still got the same message across, but in less words.
How was it using the backing track? Do you like the result? Was it as much fun?
-
I like the style and rhythm. And the rhyming feels pretty natural, I didn't hear any issues there.
I'd prefer a little more variation between the chorus and the verse just to break things up a bit more. It's a longish song and you don't wan…

Ooh I like that! Good version!
-
If you were playing this live, I reckon you'd have the crowd singing the chorus by the end of the song!
-
Lovely picking in this.
I think God's Cadillac is a lovely image. The whole song feels pretty smooth to me.
-
Lol. Hmm, am I sensing some attitude in this one? Wow. Telling it like it is Barry!
An anthem for the ages!
-
Barry was kind enough to let me try my hand at music for this.
-
Another beauty! haven't heard one from you yet that disappoints.
Polished modern style. I like the layered vocals.
Very enjoyable.
-
Vivid imagery. Metaphor feels a little bit too far for me, but that's a personal reaction.
-
I claim no expertise in this area!! I defer to your greater knowledge.

You're safe for the moment! I don't know whether you enjoy trying new fragrances or not, but it sounds like it could be an opportunity to try something new!

Syria doesn't feel out of place in terms of suffering, and the children and mothers mentioned in the Intro.
They are separate conflicts with different parties involved so saying "they’ve gone and toppled Syria" mixes them together …

Not sure I have a good answer here. This isn't my style of writing, and this song doesn't speak to me the way the way it does to you.
Music will always be important, and the less is said in the lyric, the more will fall onto the music to co…

Coming along nicely! All the forced elements are gone now.
"happy ending" might be a bit more natural than 'happy end", but not drastic either way.
I like your new line "It hurts to think, it hurts to be"
Good stuff.
-
That's very easy to listen to!

I think there's something worthwhile here Ian, though maybe it needs a little more polish.
There's emotion here. Bitterness, envy, loneliness, sadness. Watching someone else in love can be painful, and that's coming thru.
as a suggest…

The repeats on "out of time" give it a unique identify, it's defining sound.
The ending on "time machine" was surprising, and I like being surprised, that's probably my favorite part
The mood almost feels too upbeat for the lyric (ass…

Love it! Got a great feel to it.
Makes me think of James Taylor, brought on by the name I'm sure, but it sure does feel like his style would suit it.
Good write Barry!

Yep, people get a bit crazy here too.
I was pulled up at the lights and a car came up on my left and zoomed around the corner. Not only through a red light, but there wasn't even a lane on that side.
I can definitely relate!
-
That's really nice. Love the layering and panning of the guitar and vocals.
-
How could I not like this one? 😂
I've always been a James Taylor fan, so lovely to hear this. Good version.
-
Lovely production on this, top quality.
Nice lyric. Makes me wonder if anyone will understand it in say 30 years. Not that we'll likely be here to see it!
Good stuff.
-
Wonderful song Barry! Love the blend of Christmas and struggle. A reminder to us all, there but for the grace of God...

[Fixed the title]
This is powerful. Such a contrast between their pitiable outward appearance, and the inner anger and defiance. Feels real and raw and gritty and full of emotion.
Good fit for the punk genre too.
It's a really s…

Wildlife numbers around the world are crashing, so it's great to draw attention to that.
I think habitat loss and rising temperatures are even greater threats, but that's likely another song.
There are tree frogs of course, but most a…

I love the title "The mystical dance of the penguins". I'd give it a thumbs up just for that! Penguins are cool.
Vivid, evocative and descriptive lyrics.
Howdy, Stranger!
