When Suno first came out I thought it was pretty neat, so I played around with it quite a bit. Never paid for it and I don’t think that would be worth it. It’s a bit of fun to throw silly titles like “Build you own pyramid” or “a handful of feet “ a…

Thank you for your kind comments, Owen.“Creepy clown feeling” pretty much describes that part. :)
I’m 67 in a few days and looking for a place for my songs. It’s difficult being new - I don’t know anyone and no one knows me. There are … -
All apologies for being a new member 😂 I need to re-read your response above again.

Nice! Love the chorus - bit of an earworm you’ve got there, and that’s a good thing. Well-played and great vocals. (Again, I might add.)

Hi, Rob - The acoustic guitar and flute go sweet together. I like the guitar playing a lot. I hope you get a new mic, as I think you mentioned. Your voice deserves much better.

I can hear this being done at poetry night in SoHo. :). Nice recording with an expressive, fun vocal and good guitar playing. I especially like the chord progression in the outro, which appears elsewhere also. It’s a little long, in the opinion of s…

I can’t think of a better subject to write about. The vocals were really good, Matt, and the music and mix sounded great. Great song!
-
I think the music might be a mismatch for the lyrics. I’m thinking you intended some humor (okay you DID write funny lyrics!) but the AI singer took it all too seriously, up to and including pronouncing “yer” quite correctly. Lyrics are good, AI doe…

Good song, Matt. Great lyrics and vocals, and very authentic 60s feel. Are those drums real? They sound like it, and they sound good!
-
I agree with @StoneFlowers - keep at it! You’ve got the bare bones of the song. I feel some instrumentation would add a lot more. I like the guitar playing. It sounds almost classical.

This has a bit of a Smashing Pumpkins vibe to it, in my humble opinion. New mix would be great. There are free DAWs out there, free drum vsts, bass vsts, and others. A bit more structure and timing would help this song immensely, but I have no idea …

This fits right in with a lot of music I hear on modern radio. Nice voice, great mix, really good choice of instruments (including the nice subwoofer kicking bass). Good stuff!
-
Thanks @mattyoung and @icystorm. I appreciate the kind words and look forward to hanging out here :) I’ll tell you about the Ozzy thing eventually.

(Late to the party) Bam!… that’s the sound of you hitting it out of the park on this, Chris! Lyrics are impeccable, vocals great, instrumentation fantastic (nice guitar work!). Impressive rock and roll song. Very professional and well-thought. Great…

Wow. This has to have been done in one take, and I’m impressed - you’re very talented. Your vocals are very expressive, as is the accompaniment. Really well-written and performed! Kudos!
-
Hi Matt - your vocals are very good on this. There are also some unexpected chord changes that help keep interest. I agree with @RainyDayMan that the mix might be crowded in the verses. The idea would be quieter in the verses and all out in the chor…

Hello Mora - this is the first song (and video) of yours I’ve heard and seen. I like it very much. The music production is wonderful. Very european avant garde. Your voice sits in the mix very well. Very mysterious and ethereal. Out of the ordinary.…

I look forward to hearing the lyrics and music together. For me, it makes the lyrics that much more meaningful. My only thought is it would be nice if you could incorporate a special memory that you and she have shared.
This is a great way for… -
Hi @schmalex - thank you for listening. You have a good point about giving the plot away so soon. I had some trouble coming up with a line to go with “she wore her dreams.” Easy fix if I can find the words. .
@RainyDayMan - thanks for your he… -
Can't beat the title - I think it's brilliant. A song like this (almost country) needs good lyrics, and this has some nice, descriptive ones, such as "neon distorted by oil in the road," which paints a picture for me. Only negative thing is possi…

Great mood on this from the very beginning. I can picture laying back on a beach chair, just me and Jimmy Buffett somewhere in the Florida Keys, sipping on a margarita, listening to your band (or record). It's a daydream type of song. Very good.<…

The internal rhymes are clever, and the piano playing is super! Nice, cheery, melodic, all good. "Melodic retro-pop" fits nicely as a genre. So tough to have to classify everything these days. I'd just call it a nice radio-friendly song. Really w…

As with Andrea, I think the lyrics and music go together really well to create a nice mood. Even though the words are a bit down, the feel is quite relaxing. The bridge is a bit of a jolt, but I think I got it after the second time through. Drums…

Lonely Bird is really nicely written and performed. I can see how it might stay with you. His voice reminds me a bit of Elliot Smith.
Howdy, Stranger!
