Original song - One Scottish Life
A story of one Scottish man:
https://gloriousmagicalfields.bandcamp.com/track/one-scottish-life
Lyrics:
He left home at eighteen
For the fields of green
He ended up in the still
He wanted to climb the tall hill
Bottle in hand and no skill
He climbed the day and then he fell
His mother cried for a year
His brother drowned in the beer
His uncle took his shoes!
One Scottish life
He left home at eighteen
For the fields of green
He ended up in the still
He wanted to climb the tall hill
Bottle in hand and no skill
He climbed the day and then he fell
His mother cried for a year
His brother drowned in the beer
His uncle took his shoes!

Rob,
The music's good, as are the lyrics, but the vocal quality is terrible, I think it's only fair to wait till you get the sound sorted before commenting further.
Good luck,
Sid

I like the acoustic guitar on this track, works well and good fit stylistically.
Feels like a stronger narrative in the lyric on this one too, and really painting a (bleak) picture.
This is one of my favorites of yours.

Hi, Rob - The acoustic guitar and flute go sweet together. I like the guitar playing a lot. I hope you get a new mic, as I think you mentioned. Your voice deserves much better.0

Yes, this is a really strong song Rob. Indeed, I want to hear your vocals more clearly. A great arrangement which kind of takes me back to Led Zeppelin..or maybe something Robert Plant would do now.
Your best yet.😀
