Last Soul In This Bar

One good bar song deserves a...
Not that long ago I was drinking with my friends
We talked about life and how it might end
We’d laugh about the past and all the stormy weather
Living for the moment never thought about
forever
Now I don’t want to read too much into this
Don’t want to sound like a paranoid clown
But I just took a look around and saw
Hell I’m the last soul in this bar
The friends I had drinking and laughing
Have all gone on and left me hanging
And now I’m the only face in the mirror
The years have past they seem so far
Now I’m the last soul in this bar
I’m the last soul
Slipping down a wine hole
I’m the last soul in this bar
The last soul
Stuck here on a stool
I’m the last fool in this bar
break
The lights dimmed down and I took a look around
At the empty seats in the quiet sound
That’s me in the mirror giving back a stare
From the last soul sittin there
Now I love this place and its pine bar top
For thirty years now it’s been my favorite stop
So many good friends that have past along
Sometimes I see em smiling like they’re not even gone
the friends I had drinking and laughing
Have all gone on and left me hanging
And now I’m the only face in the mirror
The years have past they seem so far
Now I’m the last soul in this bar
I’m the last soul
Slipping down a wine hole
I’m the last soul in this bar
The last soul
Stuck here on a stool
I’m the last fool in this bar
Now it’s time to leave I’m being called by the stars
And I don’t wanna be the last soul in this bar
Aww the laaaaast soul.....
