Digital Queen
I'm expecting the same number of people to comment on this as the one about the crucifixion. I guess the graphic nature of how Jesus died, was off putting to some. One comes to mind :).. it's all good.
A bit of a backstory, my creative writing teacher in high school was a born-again Christian. I wrote a story called johnnie the transvestite killer. I thought, given the subject, she would have an issue... She did not. I got an A++ for creativity. My mom, who was (is) a devout catholic also read it. Her only reply was, only in my brain, could I concoct a story. Needless to say, my spirit was crushed, because the intended effect fell flat :(.
In light of that, this song is about a lesbian who falls in love with an android and the stigma associated with it.
Sensitive Topic: I understand there will be others with alternative views, and I respect those, but I'm not looking for a debate on the topic. If you enjoy what you read and the music, then please let me know, otherwise you can skip this.

[Verse 1]
The ocean breeze on,
A warm summer's day.
Blows her silky, sultry,
Raven's hair playfully.
And the cold wet sand,
Crumbles beneath our feet.
At the shore by her side,
Always, together, faithfully.
[Verse 2]
This raven-haired beauty,
Is my electrical queen.
A nomadic free spirit,
Pixilated so divinely.
Her soul ebbs and flows,
With the ocean's tide.
She's radiant and warm,
As a simulated sunshine.
[Chorus]
Living in a digital world,
Along with my virtual girl.
It's always been my dream,
To be with an artificial queen.
And I know what you're thinkin,
That I'm some kind of fool.
But let me tell you somethin,
I won't be lost to digital rule.
[Solo]
[Verse 3]
The digital revolution
Has been thrust upon us.
The genie's been let out,
There's no going back.
And I see you glaring at us,
With such pitiful disdain,
Yet under god's eyes,
We are all the same.
[Verse 4]
The Geriatrics, and the pious,
Claims of moral superiority.
Feet in the past, hands to sky,
Close minded, obscured ideology.
So, I parade her around town,
To throw it in your face.
We walk hand in hand,
Even share a warm embrace.
[Chorus]
Living in a digital world,
Along with my virtual girl.
It's always been my dream,
To be with an artificial queen.
And I know what you're thinkin,
That I'm some kind of fool.
But let me tell you somethin,
You're the one lost to digital rule.

Not another lesbian/android love song!
I agree with your mother, only in your brain.
But what a brain! Anyone who pushes the limits is worth taking notice of.
At first, I didn't take to the tempo, it reminded me of those ads were some guy talks at the speed of sound and at the end says, "terms and conditions apply"!
But then I got into it following the lyrics and it all came together.
I loved it, how creative. Your experimental stuff is certainly entertaining.
Well done.

@sidshovel , thanks.. actually, it didn't start out that way until I put it into Suno and used a female voice.. then thought, brilliant :).. Sadly since what I write isn't "normal", they only resonate with a select few here.. c'est la vie :) Now. Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it.

Yes, there's nothing really lesbian about it other than the gender of the singer. It could work either way.
It's a thought provoker. And relevant given how fast things are changing.
Made deliberately more confronting I suspect with the reference to God, close mindedness, geriatrics, pious etc.
"I won't be lost to digital rule." didn't feel as strong as other lines to me. And given it's key position at the end of the chorus, that might be worth looking at.
"Pixilated so divinely" and "As a simulated sunshine." were lovely.

@RainyDayMan - Thanks for the comment, Owen. TBH, all of the lyrics really need to be re-worked. it's not how I want them, but I'll look into make the last line stronger. Somehow, we need more diversity in this forum. it's really getting more difficult for me to comment, when most of what is being presented are all the same, In any event. thanks for the comment

Are you a member of multiple songwriting forums Bill? You might get some more novelty and diversity by visiting other sites as well.

@RainyDayMan - yes.. no different than this oddly :)

Bill, your own particular style and music taste is likely going to put you in the minority on most "run-of-the-mill" songwriting forums. Why not reach out to people on Suno who follow your own tastes. I banged in the search term "experimental" and got a load of returns. Don't want to get rid of you mate, just can't compete with lesbian/androids and Michael Buble!
