I could care less on roofs or houses . My cowriter lives in a country club in NC , I give him a hard time all the time. Your spending 2k to cut down trees , what a waste of money lol

I feel the same way Elvis, I've become used to sleeping indoors, and eating everyday but other than that, the rest is just for show.

I look out my deck this morning on a lake with 600 or so white storks that migrate from Mexico , To cold to fish . But nice scenery
Though Southern Cal is burning up from wild fires . Northern cal is fine just cold
Publisher didn't take it.. cuz its more of a artist song , I get a lot of that

Hook reminds me of the late-great Charles Bukowski's, Millionaires! I always loved that idea! VERY Americana, love it! I can hear this song on Roots Radio, WMOT, Murfreesboro, TN! And now, you've made me try and write, Monday's Millionaires of which I tried to write years ago, of which sucked. If memory serves, I believe, in one of Bukowski's poems; not Millionaires but another poem, he references, Monday's Millionaires....
And the reason you get 'more of an artist song' is because YOU ARE an artist, Elvis in your own right. And right down to your gravely and distinct vocals. In my humble opinion you are mostly AMERICANA of which is the BOMB (at least for me); say anything your heart desires, keeping it relatively clean, of course. That IS freedom of speech; poetic license of which I PRAY we never lose in a world of stifled speech!

@ElvisNash this is not the place, but my heart goes out to those presently caught in the fires in California. I listened to a report yesterday and saw some horrifying footage and the reason behind the fires and not just in California is even more horrifying. But like stated, I won't expound; not here.
