A warm welcome to the forum. Nice to hear to some guitar rock. Sounds very early 80's to me. Nothing wrong with that. I love the crunchy guitar sound. I like the sentiments behind the lyrics too. For me, the vocals sound a bit detatched from the backing..but that's just a production thing. Good rock n roll & I like it.
Btw...it would help if you include the lyrics here. I know they're on the Youtube track but it makes it easier...it's the way we do it.

Good rock sound and lyrics with a bite to them! That's a good combination.
I think you need to find a hook or catchphrase that people can sing along to. Maybe you could build off "we the people".
Worth pursuing!
