Ready For The Storm

I'm dippin my toes in the Suno Sea...a first for me. I wrote this song, music, lyrics and I'm singing it. I prompted Suno instruments on acoustic rock, dobro lead, etc

You say the storm’s been comin your whole life

That’s why you just stay scared

I hear what you’re sayin bout be prepared

But out of the dark here comes a light

I’m thinking everything gonna be alright

Don’t get me wrong I’m ready for the storm

Just thinking that it won’t last long

Yeah I’m ready... to be reborn

Cuz the night is short short as the pain

Thinking everything gonna be ok

Chorus

Be alright be alright

I know tomorrow gona be reborn

Smiling at the sky ready for the storm 2 3 4

Hey I’m ready

Break

Bridge

There will always be a storm comin your way

Always be a brighter day

There will always be fear to fire up the fright

But maybe just maybe everything be alright

I’m thinking everything gona be alright

Be alright

Are you ready are you singing along

Can you feel the thunder rockin your bones

Are you praying that the winds won’t be strong

Well maybe just maybe the sun will stay high

And everything little thing will be alright

I said be alright be alright

I know tomorrow gona be reborn

Smiling at the sky I’m ready for the storm

There’s one comin on

Got to say strong

It won’t last long

Are you reeaady   ready for the storm

Yeah

ha ha ha , a avid hater of AI and now your trying it . sounds good man . What was your exact words ? artificial music . Well kinda robots don't sleep or drink whiskey , they do kinda leak Pennzoil oil . Lift weights with one finger , Pushing buttons is strenuous. Do not tell a pro session player you like AI , they will punch you in the mouth . They will tattoo the Nashville number system on your forehead and you will be tossed out from that dive bar. Once you get really attached to Suno , you can step your game up and get a virtual Girlfriend , Tell her all your dark secrets

  • Using AI this way works for me. Elvis knows! Mind you, I need a translator for some of his comments but I think we're roughly on the same page!

This is a great song and what you've told the technology to do for you is spot on. The way things are going I might even dip my toe in the water. Mind, I'd probably get some serious ridicule after some of the things I've said going back!

    I really enjoyed this.

    @ElvisNash

    @ChrisPrice

This isn't really artificial cuz a human is singing it. So, it'd be a new designation...Partially Artificial, aka, "partart". Ya'll can use that in the future if you want. Thanks for your comments guys.

Hey Chris if you're interested I can walk you through the process I used to create this. Also, I'm not going all in full-time on partart, I'll still be using a producer, but yeah I liked how it came out, thanks.

Elvis, virtual gf, dark secrets...where I get one them?? How many you got, one for each alias??

On day one I always said, to me Ai was just a tool for me to improve my writing. I still subscribe to that belief. Now more musicians are finding opportunities to enhance their own skills by using particular features on the Ai platforms. It's just another way to IMPROVE your final output, not replace it. Bit like a plectrum I suppose, hope you enjoy playing with it, I do.

Gracias amigo. Yeah this project did indeed open my eyes. What's kept me at bay with AI is that I can't play or sing on my own creations...so I kept hunting down the process formula until....

  • I used to hate AI—called it artificial music,

Said it had no soul, just wires and excuses.

Now I’m up all night pushin’ buttons like a junkie,

Turns out “fake music” feels pretty damn funky.

Robots don’t sleep, don’t drink no whiskey,

Just leak a little Pennzoil when they’re feelin’ risky.

Lift weights with one finger, never break a sweat,

Meanwhile I’m winded lightin’ up my cigarette.

Don’t tell a session player you’re into AI,

He’ll punch you in the mouth ‘fore you can say “why?”

Tattoo the Nashville numbers right across your head,

Throw you out the bar like a song that’s dead.

And if you really fall for that Suno sound,

There’s a whole new world waitin’ underground—

You can get a virtual girl who never disagrees,

Tell her all your secrets, she just updates your needs…

Yeah, she don’t judge your past, don’t care what you’ve done—

Just says, “I understand”… and then asks you to upgrade to premium, son.

Was a man who’d sing you a song

With the kind of voice that moved your soul

The words of the poet were only half the story

The beauty of creation was in the voice that told it

In a way your ears were thirsty for what he said

In a way only he could make you believe

But time moved on I don’t have to explain

And the voice is gone so the words aren’t the same

And those words just can’t make you feel

The truth that the voice once made real

The future has no soulful voice from the man

Only new words... to believe if you can

  • Relax its just a robot joke

The discourse reminds me of dueling banjos

ha ha ha , yeah the kid in that shack. He probably beat half the players in Nashville

  • You're a whole band now! Good on you for having a go. Whether it works for you or not, it's good to know what options you have.

And that came out sounding good to me! nice track :)
