To me the hook comes out of nowhere , there is not one reference of what soldiers go thru , battle death , blood ect

A great song Sid. The vocal style reminds me a bit of Elvis (Nash not Presley!!). That's a compliment btw - I love what he does. I'd love to hear a live band do this one. Mind, they'd have to have a hell of a good guitarist! Great stuff.

Maybe the „non-connection“ too the soldier is exactly what makes this one special? I mean the lyrics are good and as far as I get it the main topic is love not war, desaster or something like that. I take it as a different kind of rose in the bouquet. Good job.0
