TSF Closing
TSF will be closing at the end of May, 2026.
After 20 years of serving the Songwriting Community, TSF will shut down permanently at the end of May.
If you have any songs, lyrics, contacts or anything else you wish to save from the site, please do before then.
Afterwards, the hosted server on which TSF runs will be released and all files will be deleted.
There will be no opportunity to retrieve anything after that point.
There is no specific event or cause. I just no longer wish to run it.
You are welcome to continue posting new songs, reviews etc up until that time and the normal standards and procedures will apply.
I have already switched off all registration options such that no new users can now join.
I'd like to personally thank everyone who has contributed to TSF over the years and I'll call out by name
- Mike Frisbey who set up the original site
- Troy Douglas who ran it for about 5 years
- and Chris Price who has helped me as a moderator in more recent years.
If there are other songwriting sites with which you have personal experience and would recommend feel free to comment those below.
Thank you guys, and good luck on your songwriting journeys
Regards, Owen

Man, I kept scratching my head as to what you were getting out of this thing anyways. Obviously no monetary compensation. Thanks so much for allowing us to share our stuff here Owen. Hey @ChrisPrice where are you hanging out these days? Always loved your interactions.

Seems some other member could take it over. I did mention charge 20 bucks a month , its nothing if you take songwriting kinda a serious , or comedy central whatever you prefer

Thanks for the suggestion Elvis, but money isn't an issue.

That's a kind offer Elvis. But you need some IT background to a run a site like this.

I can hire someone . I have a guy that works for me now . Have Marsha be the moderator , she's level headed , Always a solution to a problem unless you're married . Or what Nashville says , got a girlfriend. Did you meet her in high school and live happily ever after ? of course. Was it a small town ? that goes without saying . Was Diary Queen involved ? Now how did you know that ? Did the town have one drunk sheriff ? Man you must of read my mind
