The Green Book
Words me, Music Suno
https://suno.com/s/qpeae1Y7QQMeEvXO
[Intro]
I submit to you,
This story about a green book
An ordinary green book
In ordinary hands
Enjoy
[Verse 1]
I am reading a green book
Whose color has no meaning
Other than being forest green.
Or summer grass green
[Verse 2]
The pages of the book are white
Or off-white or eggshell
With deep black text
Well, maybe it's black
[Chorus]
This is a chorus because songs
Need a chorus, because no chorus
Is not a song, but do songs
Really need a chorus
or a bridge for that matter
I digress
[Verse 3]
The words on each page
Tell some form of story,
An interesting story
About nothing in particular
[Verse 4]
Nick my finger turning the page
Deep red blood drips, drips
Down the side of the green book
And stains my wooden floor
[Verse 5]
Suddenly a tall giant appears
Whose as tall as tall can be
And not very nice, no,
He's as mean as mean can be
[Bridge]
Then we battle, the not small giant
And me, who's not giant's tall
From the very high mountain tops
To the sea that very blue and deep
[Verse 6]
He then pins me against the wall
Into the blackest darkest void, I call
But those without ears cannot hear
And those without eyes cannot see
[Outro]
His breath smells of dank green moss
He whispers in my ears that I can hear
Something sweet kind and loving
I submit

You have to be taking chocolate mesculine to write that . Well I do kinda miss that , but let's not go there . Was that the flower era ? I think so . I'm sure Haight Asbury was involved

If I did coke or acid, I'd be dead, that's not me being overly dramatical, that' just my personality. I've also seen some kids in high school really screw themselves up. Besides my brain is so fucked up, I don't need acid. I just need to think :)

Abuse. a day in my life growing up.
the green book is used in a story by Arthur Machen called "The white people. " about a child's diary who talks about the horrors in the forest in the calmest way.

again, what are you going to do? it's a happened. i wanted this song, like my other songs, to be multifaceted. I want people to draw their own conclusions.

Sometimes I wish I had a normal brain, it gets tiring sometimes, but we always want what we can't have :)😂

Define normal… then get back to me.
Normal people don’t write songs.
They wake up, go to work, raise a couple kids, take one vacation a year,
and call that a life.
We write songs for those people.
They ride around with a black box in the dash
spitting out feelings they don’t know how to say—
same phrases, same clichés, over and over.
’Cause normal runs on repetition.
Songwriters?
We hate clichés.
We hear one and wanna tear it apart and build something honest out of the scraps.
You pick up a guitar…
and just like that, you ain’t living on Main Street anymore—
you’re somewhere in the twilight zone,
trying to say something nobody’s said that way before.
Three in the morning?
That’s normal for us.
That’s when the real lines show up.
When we die, normal people will bury us,
shake their heads and say,
“He was a strange one.”
Yeah…
but they sang every word we wrote.
Now we got a crisis going on—
world’s spinning, nobody knows what’s real—
but hang on… I’ll get back to you.
I’m in the middle of a conversation
that makes about as much sense as anything else these days.

Gotta drive 3 hours for people ready that are probably drug addicts to unload 60 sheets of plywood on a job , is that normal ? If you want to record songs and pay for humans , its normal
