Political Song Walked In A Bar

verse 1
Neon flickered, smoke hung low
Half the room already ready to go
Old man starin’ in his beer
Like trouble was already here
Boots on tile, quiet got tight
You could feel it 'fore the fight
Bartender wiped the counter slow
Like he already knew the show
Verse 2
Door swung wide, cold blew in
Room got still like a coming sin
Guitar player stopped mid-chord
Everybody leaned toward the door
Then somebody laughed too hard
Like they’d just pulled a wild card
Nobody knew just who you were…
But the whole room felt the stir
Chorus
A political song walked in a bar
Didn’t get very far
One side cheered, one side swore
Nobody listened anymore
Truth got drowned in a whiskey jar
When a political song walked in a bar
Verse 3
Somebody yelled, "Pick a side!"
Somebody else said, "Truth just died"
Chair legs scraped, tempers sparked
Freedom stumbled in the dark
Guitar player packed his case
Said, "Music lost its place"
Bartender just shook his head
"Songs used to bring folks together," he said
Final Chorus
A political song walked in a bar
Left with a broken guitar
Nobody won, nobody learned
Just another bridge that burned
Silence humming where voices are…
Since a political song walked in a bar
Now even love songs get nervous when they walk in that bar.

That's too bad, these are really strong lyrics., and I'm not saying that to blow smoke up your ass, and stroke your ego😁
There is a book from Arthur Machen called White People, which naturally isn't about racism, but if you have a song title White People which is based on the book of the same name, would most likely do as well as a political or religious song.

it seems that using AI to create songs, is a no-no, but using AI to edit and mix songs is ok. there is a site called Taxi, there's a portal for you to submit songs. Not sure if they are a scam or not, but in one of the briefs, they said that you can't use AI to create the music, but they don't have a problem with using AI to mix

Taxi they don't take AI songs I don't think , I don't pitch songs anymore , just a cut a few . I really don't know , things change

They will only take them if they are edited by AI, not created by AI.
One way to find out if your songs suck or not, post them on a professional site and not an amateur songwriting forum, where I guess if you are too harsh, and don't' tell them that their lyrics are the bestest ever,, then your opinion becomes fact and you're now the monster :)
Even though you do use Neon a lot, it's not quantity, its quality, this is what separates professional writing from non-professional, like mine, for example. my songs aren't deep but layered symbolically but the meaning needs a bit of extracting, which is part of my world. You write symbolically, but the meaning is there, but you tell a story. Neon means different things based on context.
