All angles have been done. the key is to make them unique. you have that ability. A lot of your songs I imagine in background music in scenes. Like this one. You could set the scene as an old 1800 church converted to a bar. The juxtaposition of the cross on the steeple, whilst debauchery going on is perfect :)

I don't think all angles have been done . Mister Rogers Or Jessie James has not been done before , I think there's plenty has not been done before . But this has for sure , its just the hook that makes it a tad different

You're correct about mr. rogers, but not about jesse james - He's one of the most mythologized figures in American music. The 1873 folk ballad Jesse James is the original, then Springsteen's Jesse James, The Animals, countless country and bluegrass versions. He's basically a genre unto himself.

But nobody's compared the two , that original . the problem with writers they look outwards instead of inwards. Each person has their own view on how they view the world . Usually with enough risk on the writers part, it resonates with other people . Unless you're so far gone you resonate with nobody .

this has nothing to do with suno at all. this is purely from a songwriting standpoint. when did I mention suno? fuck suno. not everything is about suno. And you'd be surprised how integrated "robots" are in our lives. AI is nothing new, AI started getting traction in the 90's, it's only gotten a foothold recently because tech finally caught up. "robots" in terms of algorithms control more than you think. enough with the robots, yes, we get it. beat a different drum, this is getting worn.

I only use suno because I don't have the musicality that some members of this forum has. Had I focused more on music back in high school that was suggested by a dozen people, and not spent it soaked in JD and Olde English and not giving a shit, I'd most likely not be using suno today, or use it for what it's good for, testing ideas.
