Gettin' Lazy
One of the cool things about SUNO is you can try songs in different formats - this one works much better as country

GETTIN' LAZY
[Verse 1]
I'm getting lazy and weak
Can't seem to turn the other cheek
I know it's wrong to fuss and fight
Maybe I shouldn't be so wide-eyed
[Verse 2]
I'm getting lazy and long
Don't even feel like writing a song
I know it's wrong to run away
Maybe I should turn and face the day
[Chorus]
I'm getting lazy as I get old
It's been so long since I lost all control
I think I'm in love but I don't believe it sometimes
I'm lost in the words and I just don't deserve
Can't think of any rhymes
[Instrumental]
[Verse 3]
I'm getting lazy and weak
Can't seem to turn the other cheek
I know it's wrong to call out a sin
Sometimes I wonder is it too late to begin again
[Verse 4]
I'm getting lazy and weak

Yes, you definitely got a lift to the song going that route. Is that something you regularly do in Suno, try it out in different styles? Always good to know how people are using tools to get best results!

i really like that rhythm of the last 2 lines of the chorus, its interesting and different. The way Suno does up your songs reminds me of the type of music my grandpa would play on his Juke box. its sounds good, brings me back in time.

I originally had this as a blues song:

There is a fine line between country, soul, glam rock, etc. So I often try things out to see where things it -
Example - This song was originally just an adult contemporary ballad - and I tried it as 70s soul:

I had put the song Overtired as a country song a while back... it started as more of a 70s Clapton thing:

I've tried to render my recent country songs all under the same persona to give them a more consistent feel - which seems to work well.
