Black And White Homicide

Verse 1

Back when right was right and wrong was jail

You tipped your hat or you’d tip the scale

Sunday meant church and sinners burned

You earned your scars, you got what you earned

Men were men and truth was tight

Everything lived in black and white

Chorus

Now it’s black and white homicide

Somewhere in the gray we hide

No clear saints, no clear crimes

Just blurred-out lines and softer spines

It ain’t justice, it’s compromise

Black and white homicide

Verse 2

We traded backbone for being liked

Started calling weakness “open-minded”

Turned every fight into both sides

Till truth just shrugged and stepped aside

Bridge

How many colors can I stand?

How many shades before I can’t?

When every line starts melting through

What’s a red-blooded man to do?

Final Chorus

It’s black and white homicide

Somewhere in the gray we hide

No more edges left to find

Just neon noise inside my mind

If everything’s justified —

That’s black and white homicide

  • How did I get this idea , some guy on other site , said he used one robot to create his song , What's suno use , lets say 22

So where is that gray area ? Hard to say . And Black And White is mostly gone now , We live in gray areas

  • whenever I use one of the Ai chat's and suno to generate lyrics, they are usually gibberish. if I want gibberish, just write it myself :)

Naw I write em , one a day , Suno can't write , Tried em once , I don't know if its gibberish , kinda heard the angle before , or words like glow . AI is great for 10 ways to approach an idea , pick one. I write em in my sleep , but you need the phone nearby , otherwise forget them in the morning . Write what ya got in notes , go back to sleep . Black And White got murderd awhile back. Maybe it never existed in the first place

Thats just tunnel vision , I can't see on my far left or right , if everything Black And white has been murderd. Thats staring down a blue road and can't quite make out things flying past me, on the left and right , If somethings are still Black And white

nice lines here, could apply to many things in todays world

-We traded backbone for being liked

    -Started calling weakness “open-minded”

I bounce ideas off Ai to get some immediate feedback. Its ok at pointing out weak points in a song, but its suggested fixes are almost always bad, which is fine because I want to write my own lyrics. it could be helpful for someone who only wants to work on creating music for existing lyrics as practice, or for people who like creating instrumentals but want to see what it would sound like with words. But if some one is going to have Ai do all the work what is the point?

yeah notes on the phone, I do the same thing. sometimes I wake up middle of night and have an idea and have to type it in.

You don't let it do all the work , You create the hook and ask it what's the best way to approach this , it kicks out 5 ways , You choose how you want to write it . Its the same thing co-writing , You ask him or her which way you want to take it , Could take you 5 hours , AI is 4 seconds . You can always ask if each line makes sense , if it says yes , if it says no , you correct the line , Its just a faster approach then the slow human way . if your hook and angle suck, You can write like John Lennon , its not going to help you.

the first you ask has this hook been done , if it says , its straight to trash , If not you continue . But that has never happened , Hooks are easy , You can write 10 a day

  • AI isn't always accurate. It uses a weighted average and picks the top response from that, It can't "feel" the same way a human feels. it can only emulate. For example, AI cannot feel the sheer terror of standing in a biker bar as your tone deaf pink-haired girlfriend negotiates change from a bartender, who would have thrown a decent punch, but refrained himself because she was a female.

No it can't , it's a machine , thats on you to write that. it's good for angles , grammar mistakes , if lines make sense , if they don't make sense. Does the final song get the point across , if no's , you correct . You if you have time write 10 hours a day , sit by phone , write lines , watch tv, work pay bills whatever , it's multitasking . You get used to it . Here what ya got watch out for , Do not confuse business and song writing . they do not mix , buisness is doggy dog . clients don't give a shit you think butterflys are free

  • yes, if you are working with structured songs, perhaps. where it fails, is when you break from structure like the piece I'm working on right now. It's a free-flowing steady stream of consciousness similar to Jack Kerouac's October in the railroad earth, where it doesn't have to be grammatically correct, is essentially one long paragraph with minimal punctuation. I had to prompt ChatGPT, Geimini, CoPilot and Claude, to ignore standards and base it on the work of jacks' and the beat generation. after a few passes, they all retrained themselves and I got the response I was looking for. they stopped correcting for grammar and re-writing it so that it's more structured and I was able to move forward.

    lets try one ,

That’s a killer hook, Elvis. that took me 4 seconds looking at a girl working out on tv

Two AM Cardio Machine” already sounds like outlaw double-meaning — sweat, heart rate, bad decisions, survival.

Let’s break angles down so you can choose the flavor:

1️⃣ Seductive / Wild Night Angle (fun but not graphic)

    She’s not love — she’s late-night adrenaline.

Not romance — reckless exercise for the heart.

So you go there and write it

You can't just sit there waiting for inspiration , That computer of yours ,you brain is told think songwriting 24 hours a day , Yes master . So it runs like that for say 8 days no stop . then you say I'm sick of this shit and take a break . Good luck with that , it never shuts off

  • Your in your own world , I could never think them ideas lol

  • Or, as my late wife fondly called it - being in bill land. :)

    it is good for brainstorming.

who's going to be the one to post a song about Ai?

  • Robot songs lol
