Heartache After Heartache (Big Band / Jazz) (AI / Human collab)
Disclaimer: This is a lyric written by me with music from Suno. All the text description beyond this point is completely made up by me and is just some fun lore building. I like to immerse myself when I make AI music, make it feel like more than just a robot spitting out a product. So anyways, I hope y’all enjoy.

Lyrics
[instrumental intro]
[verse 1]
Why can’t I seem to let you go
By now you’d think I’d know
Heartache after heartache
That’s the price of loving you
[verse 2]
Why can’t you see what you’ve done
Dear, you’ve got me on the run
Heartache after heartache
That’s the price of loving you
[bridge]
You’re nothing but a memory
Should’ve washed out with the rain
But like a ghost, oh darlin’, you linger
Haunting my heart again and again
[verse 3]
Here I am, one more time
Hoping you’ll give me a sign
Heartache after heartache
That’s the price of loving you
[coda]
But I’ll pay it, baby, if you say you’ll love me too
[instrumental solo]
[bridge]
You’re nothing but a memory
Should’ve washed out with the rain
But like a ghost, oh darlin’, you linger
Haunting my heart again and again
[verse 3]
Here I am, one more time
Hoping you’ll give me a sign
Heartache after heartache
That’s the price of loving you
[coda]
But I’ll pay it, baby, if you say you’ll love me too

Could be straight out of that era! Gee that came out well. Suno is a wonder, but you gave it a lovely lyric to work with. And of course Linda sings it beautifully!
Good stuff!

@RainyDayMan Thanks! It's funny because I've done like 9 or 10 in this style since I posted this, and I'm not even sure how much the earlier ones like this one hold up. But I'm glad you liked it! I agree, Suno works best when you meet it halfway and give it some lyrics to work with. I mean, as it is, it takes dozens of tries to get right haha. We'll be hearing more from Linda and co. soon 🙂
@ElvisNash Glad you liked, man. I've been making a lot of songs in this big band style recently. Stuff I can't record myself but still have fun writing. Ai is great for that.
