Gun paradox
continuation of the quantum immortality
Lyrics - Me; Music/Vocals - Suno

Should explain the chorus - not about suicide or anything nefarious. Just simply to test the theory, a scientist faces a loaded gun. when it fires, the universe splits into two. one alive, one dead. its possible in the new universe he is in the same position.
I think Suno did a great job, got the experimental rock aspect down, and made the chorus catchy..
I was mainly testing out the sound over the lyrical content or understandability
[Verse 1]
Floating Suspended timeless
Embracing black void spaces
Illuminating nebulaic hues
Fabrics woven nodal laplaces
[Chorus]
Sitting facing a loaded gun
Pull the trigger I am done
In one, but in another I am
Sitting facing a loaded gun
[Verse 2]
Windows multiversal universal
Open one, many or none at all
Existential coexisting realities
Gravity more less rising falling
[Chorus]
Sitting facing a loaded gun
Pull the trigger I am done
In one, but in another I am
Sitting facing a loaded gun
[Verse 3]
Superposition endless possibilities
In all, see all, hear all, feel all
Observation decoherence nothingness
Windows Collapsing unified singularly
[Chorus]
Sitting facing a loaded gun
Pull the trigger I am done
In one, but in another I am
Sitting facing a loaded gun
[Verse 4]
Endings creates new beginnings
Death not end transference new
Probabilistic deterministic both
Identity real copy always you
[Outro]
Outside my windows are many me's
Inside my window they only see me
The we's become me's or do me
becomes we's which is really me

Lost me again Bill, way over my head I'm afraid. Can we get back to the Dorian Gray probability uncertainty principle, I was more comfortable there?

@sidshovel - how does it sound?, you really don't need to understand the lyrics as I really wrote them for cadence

I missed that last line, after me reading the lyrics through three times!
The sounds a good vehicle for the lyrics, gives it a kind of EDM/Rap vibe to me.
African drums is a novelty though that works too. Gives it a good beat to measure your cadence.
Are you planning to strike out in this direction. Since nobody listens to the lyrics in this kind of genre, won't have to worry about it being too abstract for the likes of me.

Sounds fine , but I get suicide in chorus , What's that chorus mean to you ? Well You explained what it meant , But without it ?

@sidshovel - not sure yet. the prog / experiment rock has limited audience. no matter how much I try lately, I cannot write normal lyrics. keep going abstract.

@ElvisNash - not suicide, rather a macabre way to scientifically test the theory. the problem with it, once your consciousness enters your new self, it no longer has access to the old self. this is all pure theoretical anyways, and there is no current way to test if quantum immortality actual exist.. but it's fun to think about :)

Pretty deep Bill

@bhengen What the hell? Lol! And I thought I was out there! I too, got 'suicide' out of the chorus until I read your reply to Elvis. Now, for a listen....nice beat so the words can go misunderstood or not understood at all. Not feeling like turning it off. Cool vibe, song, Bill!

@HummerWisdom - Thanks for the comments, to be fair I did put the explanation for the chorus at the beginning of the post :).

To be honest, nobody is going to understand the chorus as anything but suicide or murder. Also, to be honest, nobody is going to understand anything else in the song. I get the feeling you're OK with that. 🙂
It does have some lines that I like and I do like the outro. Mind bending in an enjoyable way.

I think the chorus is really awesome. The verses don't make sense to me.
Maybe a preface explaining the meaning behind the song would help.
The music and melody sound good.... but, again, that chorus is a great hook!

@IronKnee - thanks for the comment. I like the chorus also, perpetually repeating. I could put something about the song, but it's really trying to keep it open so that whatever meaning you got from it. is yours. Like the chorus, both Elvis and Renee got suicide, when in reality it's a theoretical way to conduct the experiment.

@OnlyGavin - You're correct. this song is written intentionally for people to get out of it whatever they want. If it's nothing, then that's ok. I was going towards more phrasing the lyrical content, which is why the words are structured the way they are. I had in my mind when I wrote this, a smoky beatnik bar, with a guy in the background playing bongos with a woman in capri pants chanting this in spoken word format.

In terms of the music, the chorus is definitely catchy. All through really strong rhythms. The half spoken / half sung verses give it a definite vibe. Probably leaning more towards EDM than rap (though for me that's a good thing!) or even just alternate pop. In some ways it made me think of devo, just that alternative approach I guess, I don't think it sounds particularly like them.

@RainyDayMan - Thanks for comment Owen. I was actually going more towards prog rock . In my head when I wrote this, as I mentioned to Gavin, that I wrote it for spoken word format. But I couldn't get Suno to do spoken word with bongo drums.
