I'll Win Everytime

(mid-tempo, Acoustic guitar, blues rock guitar, snare drums)

Verse 1:
You look at me all innocent
You tell me that he's just a friend
Girl, I won't be your fool
I'm tired of bein' used by you
There's nothin' left to say
Our love's come to an end

(Add hand claps)
Chorus:
I don't have time for all your lies
There's no way I'm stayin' this time
You think you got all the control
You think you got all the contro-o-ol
But you should know
That it's my time

Verse 2:
All those times I couldn't leave
I thought I needed you next to me
But that's what you wanted all along
You made me weak, while you felt strong
I was your prisoner, but now I'm free

Chorus:

(Blues rock solo)

Outro:
But you should know
I'll win every time

(Music fades)

  • A lot of positive energy there. Definitely an "I'm over you" message rather than a breakup song.

Given "It's my time" is the final line of the chorus, it could make an alternative title for the song if you wanted to go that way.

    Nicely put together.
