While we're on the California trip...as nasty as the cities are the State is one of the most beautiful places on the planet...journey with me to the Southern Cal deserts and the Eastern Sierras... a spring trip my girl and I took a few years back...it just begged me to write a song about it.

Rough cut or no. . . this is one of my favorites. Love the "wandering" guitar riff. The vocal is absolutelly perfect for your voice. Part of it is that I'm listening on a new (better) set of headphones. But this is just perfect for your voice. If there were songs like this on the radio, I might start listening to the radio again.
