Bobby had a moment

That sounds so natural, both the vocal and the guitar. I really couldn't pick that as AI generated. And it came out well!
I like the whole "slice of life" feel of it. The Facebook verse got me!
The part about Bobby isn't 100% clear to me. I'm assuming he was jumping rope - but it is an assumption.
But I thoroughly enjoyed the song.

Yeah, im sure that will be fun. I write alot of songs a capella, be neat to put a cappella version in and let it work around that

I like the Facebook verses, too. I'm also perplexed if Bobby was an ace jump roper. Not exactly getting how the jump rope memories and joining Facebook tie into the thinking you could fly, unless the speaker wants to escape memories of choking at jump rope and not having a flashy enough photo for Facebook. "A life achievement show" -- great line!

Thanks, well Bobby wasn't an ace jump roper, they were in grade school. but he got INVOLVED and managed to do it. Singer is not admiring his Jump roping skills, he's admiring his guts to do it, get involved be part of it, and was rewarded for it by attention from ladies .
Facebook verse is much same idea .the singer is reflecting on how and why he didn't achieve same results as others...on Facebook or wherever
The link is letting opportunities pass by you and and not going for it
people are afraid of success, afraid of failure, easier to sit on side and make excuses, let somebody else take the risks and reward.
