Here's the 3rd track from my upcoming acoustic EP. There's plenty more rock n roll to come, but I'm enjoying doing these songs by way of a change from the usual format:

Walking fifty steps down to the station
Gotta put a credit card into the slot
We headin’ for a special destination
But our train ticket, well it ain’t what we got
So we rode our luck and climbed aboard the first train
Who knows if we gonna find our way back here again
Saw twenty platforms pass our cover nearly blown
We quit the metro at a destination unknown
Down a tree lined boulevard, we got a spring in our step
We gonna eat n drink fine wine n party down you bet
All we got is fifty cents but we got a head of steam
We gonna do a runner when it’s time to quit the scene
So we rode our luck and climbed aboard the first train
Who knows if we gonna find our way back here again

We’re in the city jail cos our plans have all gone wrong
Some dude he rumbled us when we were both in song
So we tunnel our way out n back onto the street
Headed for the station our adventure was complete

Good fun upbeat song! Love the pause around "destination unknown" gives it lots of emphasis.
The lyric is light and bouncy too, so a good fit to the music.
I was half expecting a bridge rather than a 3rd verse, so that's a possibility if you haven't already considered it.
Good feel to it and easy listening.

Yeah, a bridge there is a good shout. The song could perhaps use a shift in direction mid-way. I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks for kind words and for your suggestion Owen😀

Me ha encantado!!! Better and better songs!!! I enjoyed it a lot trying to hum some words and wonder gin how you canny so many words so quick!!! hahaha
The rhythm, guitars, bass, voices, everything is good and in place. Good lyrics too, a frenetic ride into the train to the unknown

Love it Chris! Very exuberant and fun, as it would be going on an adventure. I feel you're 100% into it. I like the layered vocals and guitar strumming. All around well-crafted.

A change in plans can be quite adventuresome! A great hook that you use perfectly. Love this fun story with the upbeat music.
I don't understand the "cover nearly blown". It could possibly fit in V2.
I like Owen's idea for a bridge instead of V3.
