Working Through to You

Out beyond, beyond the final range
Wild horses hit their last stampede
But it’s not all over
We got a ways to go
Forget the baggage
just get on board
Where to
who’s there
do you dare
There’s trust in the dusky afternoon
There’s high hopes for what it takes
Somebody’s got to have a clue
The mess in the marble hallways
Has got to, got to come to an end
road’s wide open the song says
Where to
who’s there
do you dare
it’s no secret, it’s right up front
there is an answer, it’s in your eyes
in your eyes, in your eyes

This is another one of your songs which flies way over my head, but at the same time you can't pull yourself away from the brilliant guitar and the magnetic pull of the delivery. I absolutely love it, just don't understand it. Guitarists out there need to listen to this!

Always love your one man soulful sound buddy. Harkening back to the Piedmont blues. That thumb keeping bass time to the melody...the way you slowly work your way through the vocals to tell the story, great stuff. So very different in a world full of so very similar.

Most of 70ties songs never made any sense . Nice job on the delta blues RC
