Now tell me what's the difference between your song and Cole Porter's? To my ears they are the same in all respects, your's being slightly better in the use of gospel backing voices. If his is a hit and yours isn't, the the game's not straight as I said earlier.

Mines more a gospel song , Cole Swindels is geared to a crowd pleaser at concerts . The difference Cole lives in mansion with 3 mill in the bank , I live in a trailer with 10k . with a past debt of 300k over 20 years trying to beat Cole. My common sense went out the window as soon as I picked up a guitar at 26-years old and my first divorce . 44 years , You'd think I'd be smarter by now lol

welp, there was a time when I had a house worth 1/2 mil+, plus a mercedes and two corvettes. but then we were both working 60+ hours/week. just to keep up.. finally said screw it.. sold it, but a house on 5 acres and cut out the stress.
