Fast Food Lane Number one
one from the library
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUb0x-PpaaE
He was two cars back waiting his turn at KFC strip mall
He yelled into the speaker a number three with extra coleslaw
Pulled up to the window he was stunned on her big green eyes
When he asked for her number she gave him the sweetest brightest smile
Chorus
He found love in fast food lane number one
She asked him if he needed extra honey for his buns
They both laughed he could tell she had a sense of humor
The Cars started honking ‘behind him’ but he had to get to her
With her down home southern charm he had his mind made up done
He found love in fast food lane number one
v2
He asked if he could add something else in his box meal order,
Anything to keep him there talking to her for a few minutes longer
She wrote her number down on a napkin told him she was off at ten
He thought he could tell her he’s missing a wing so he drove around again
bridge
The way she kept saying “ain’t you precious”
was infectious and almost as delicious as the Colonel’s (turnover) apple pie.

Naw , This would not fit anyway , It have to be an artist song . God Fearing Atheist ect . I'm not sure where they get fan base , compared to say Spotify
I've heard Rick Beato talking on Bandcamp , quickly mentioned it

I'm sure Band camp wants promotion money , THEY ALL DO. There's 500,000 trillion songs now , from bad to good . like everything a few great ones , if they're paying to be heard

When you have to major players in the EDM industry, both are pioneers. Armin, has a course on how to produce EDM songs, and the first words out of his mouth was how near impossible it was to break into the industry, Then Deadmou5, when talking about how to promote your music, said stay away from bandcamp, because the only one that makes money is bandcamp, In addition to the article you posted, Even on spotify, you have to find a way to scream the loudest to be heard

you have to find a way to scream the loudest to be heard, Yes and it money , been doing this for years

I'm glad I have no interest in promoting songs, it sounds such a lot of hard work for what appears to be infinitesimal return on the effort. It must be acutely frustrating to hear mediocre songs on the radio and know your own songs, so much better, are ignored.
Then there are the restrictions imposed by radio/labels/promoters, I doubt I could creatively engage with those kinds of input.
Listening to you throw numbers around, putting my catalogue through a studio would cost millions, for what, thanks but no thanks!
Material for a song in this thread.
