The Jeannie C., Stan Rogers, 1978
Canadian born Stan Rogers wrote this song in 1978 and it has been released first on his LP "Turnaround" in the same Year (I think). The grieve of a son to the loss of his boat, made by his Father and named after his mother is a gentle reminder of the danger of a hard working fisherman's day to day life. I truly love the song and I hope I do it justice...

Stan Rogers has some wonderful songs (how can you beat the Northwest Passage?).
I enjoyed my listen!

Hi @StefPo
I like the faltering start before you go into the gentle melody. I hadn't heard the original (rectified that now) and found this to be a charming rendition. Nice work.

Another good cover, StefPo. This is another track I'd never heard before, but I like the sublime, relaxing vibe of your version. I enjoyed listening. Nice work! 😀
