Thank you for taking the time.

WHERE HAVE THEY ALL GONE TO?

[Verse 1]

Nature lovers from around the world

Sounding a dire alarm

Since 5G has taken over the planet

There has been grave harm

[Chorus]

Where have all the birds gone to?

Where are all the honeybees?

Where have all the creepy-crawly things gone to,

Dandelions, butterflies, frogs in the trees?

Where have they all

Where have they all gone to-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh

[Verse 2]

Thousands of space satellites beaming down

This is an act of war

Getting hard to find a little slice of Heaven

Here on earth anymore

[Chorus]

Where have all the birds gone to?

Where are all the honeybees?

Where have all the creepy-crawly things gone to,

Dandelions, butterflies, frogs in the trees?

Where have they all

Where have they all gone to- ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh

[Verse 3]

Seems everybody knows someone with cancer

Little children with shaved heads

Seems everybody knows someone with cancer

They should put big-tech to bed, ‘cuz

[Chorus]

Where have all the birds gone to?

Where have all the honeybees?

Where have all the creepy-crawly things gone to,

Dandelions, butterflies, frogs in the trees?

Where have they all

Where have they all gone to-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh

Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, oooh

[Verse 1/Tag]

Nature lovers from around the world

Sounding a dire alarm

Since 5G has taken over the planet

There has been grave harm –

Grave harm.

  • Sweet lil tune Renee. I'm a big outdoors guy and yeah it does seem a bit quiet outside around here. Except for the ticks, and the mold, and the ah ah ahhhhh choo! Scooze me...pollen.

  • @StoneFlowers This song came from reports that I receive via email of disappearing wildlife from all over the world. So sickening and sad. 😥 And I know I went a bit overboard in the chorus but I think it gets the point across in all of its' urgency. I appreciate you appreciating the tune, thanks!

  • Wildlife numbers around the world are crashing, so it's great to draw attention to that.

I think habitat loss and rising temperatures are even greater threats, but that's likely another song.

There are tree frogs of course, but most are found on the ground / water. Pretty minor but you could pick a different animal there if you wanted to.

I don't think the chorus is overdone at all! The point of the song is about losing all the animals and hitting that hard here feels just right to me.

I like how you end on "grave harm" too. Gives it some weight.

    Nicely done!

  • Sounds a little like pete seegers, where have all the flowers gone, only with a modern adaptation

  • @RainyDayMan thanks so much, Owen for your input and compliments. Appreciate it very much!

@bhengen totally forgot about "where have all the flowers gone" tho' I do remember it, but barely. Need to go and look it up, thanks! Listening now on YT. Now, I remember! Thanks so much! What a beautiful song!

  • @Hardtwistmusic , Pete seeger had a way with words. he got the idea from reading a book about a russian revolution :)

  • Lovely song Renee , Well we destroy the planet , well anyway pretty catchy song

  • @ElvisNash Thank you! Yes, while the powers-that-be rant and rave over saving the planet, underneath it all, they could care less about it. While this song only covers one way they're destroying it, as you know there are many more. Prayerfully, the world will wake up and we can stop it with God's help, of course.

I kinda doubt it . I think will just have very small areas for animals . As the greedy rat race destroys everything in it path and migrate to planets and live in bubbles

  • Nice job Renee, this is a big deal we lose the honeybees, we lose the plant-based groceries. Nice little groove to this one, if I had one suggestion.... Had you thought of using everyone instead of everybody? "Seems everybody knows someone with cancer" that line seemed a little rushed to me. Either way, I commend you for bringing this out further into the light.

  • @Barry actually, yes. You are correct. Upon listening back, I thought the same thing and have been meaning to change it to 'everyone'. Great catch! Resinging is NOT my favorite thing since all my crap is live (and full of blunders!) lol 🤣
