Age gets better with wine

Words flow easier in clever lines

Thinking back on all the sunshine

It flew by it keeps on flying

Drinking one more glass of time

But thinking back I can’t help but smile

The world was bigger the road was winding

The party louder on my arriving

What a remarkable hook/title, Stoney! I'm a bit envious, lol! I think the unusual rhyme scheme works in this lyric; ending each line on 'i' sounds pushes the song along like time chugs along. I'm sure when you were writing it you meant for it to be that way and that is a TOUGH rhyme scheme to have to come up with several different words of which you pulled off perfectly. And yes, like Sid said, 'a beautiful memorial to your friend', I'm sure Andy is smiling from Heaven.

"Age gets better with wine" wonderful line, I like that even more than "one more glass of time", which itself is a good one.

The rhymes across all those verses is very skillful!

A really strong lyric in this one.

Great song. "We'll get drunk and admit our crimes" is the line that jumped out at me the most - but they're all fantastic.

Your vocal melody is strong, too. This might be my favorite of yours so far.

Thanks guys, this is one of my personal favorites. I'll have to give credit where it's due...I was sitting in a bar with my GF and up on the wall was a small sign that said "age gets better with wine", an obvious spoof on wine get's better with age. In my mind I immediately heard a song. All the other lyrics are original.
