Reading this reminded me of a song I loved when it first came out called Father and Son by Cat Stevens, it has come full circle for me as I now am the father in story
-
Color me weird Bill, but I like the Outro the best

This looks to me to be a very well-crafted lyric that should sing really well. What style of music were you thinking of while writing this? I'd love to hear it.
Since this is written conversational between, I assume you and your father, I w…

Welcome to the world of weather songs Renee! I love your lyrics to this one, especially the opening 4, they pull you right into the story.

Ain’t no Adam and Steve LOL
APPLAUSE RENEE!! -
Sid, you are putting your mad skills out there in this one. I’m hoping it’s fiction, you laid out some raw emotion here.
-
A story old as time, but written with new lines I wonder how many fall for Satans same old lies.
This was great Elvis, haunting music and a fresh twist on that crossroad tale. Love it man -
Bill, I’m a fan and a half of southern rock for sure, maybe in the future I will try it that way, but for now I’ve got other things rattling around in my head.
-
@Renne, thanks for the kind words and taking the time to listen, unfortunately this is fiction, but if I had a son this and so much more I would tell him about, but I have told my daughters, and now they will have this song to remind them when I’m g…

I get it Sid. I will try, I have tried, and I guess I have written a couple that were not from my experiences, but it doesn't come to me as easily as the other way round.

I can't get the link to work, but I remember the original from back in the day.

One of my brothers and I haven't spoken in years, I feel your pain in this song. It's all on me though, I shut him out, but it still hurts.
The one line that stuck out to me was moving ain't free, I assume you are referring to things beyond…

Damn Sid, that's a dark story. I knew I liked you lol.
I'm with Bill I have a real hard time writing about things I haven't actually experienced or know about firsthand.

Nice song Renee! Funny thing is I read and listened before looking at the comments above and that one line hung me up to.
Maybe - I know it seems like things are not getting better - just my .02 keep it or sweep it.

Very relatable lyrics, I've lived on both sides of those lines, sometimes in the same day. Enjoyed it Elvis

Beautiful lyrics Owen, the music is a nice marriage to them as well. One thing I've noticed on Suno if you use the prompts [Intro] before lyrics, and [Outro] after your lyrics it helps to keep it from starting or stopping abruptly.

I should be working too, luckily I've worked myself into a spot that affords me some free time as long as I don't leave.

I don't think it's odd at all, I can see a lot of people asking this as a valid question. I like this a lot Elvis, the music, the lyrics are killer too. I think you got something here. Hell ended for me almost 14 years ago.

Hey Renee, thanks for the comments, the listen, and the time. Short answer, I sent it to her as a text as I am (you guessed it) at work lol, it sounded like she was smiling when she called me crying. I finished it last night after she went to bed…
