New to the site...to songwriting, not so much lol To be clear, I am a WRITER, who enjoys writing lyrics, amongst other things. I'm not a vocalist, I'm not a musician, and above all, I am NOT a producer lol In the past I spent a lot of time and enjoyed networking my lyrics with vocalists, musicians, and producers around the world. No, don't get excited, nothing ever "sold," so nothing ever actually went anywhere - but still, it was and still continues to be a fun ride :-) These days, I'm simply taking the Suno A.I. engine and producing my own demos around my own lyrics, and doing so at admittedly more novice levels. I always enjoy comments, I always appreciate critiques, and friends are most certainly always welcome.
As for my other work, the primary thrust of my overall writing these days is the advocacy work that I seek to do for the mentally ill and mentally disabled communities. In recent years, I've written four books and a handful of lesser works, as well as produced numerous videos along these lines. My ultimate goal with my "songwriting" these days is to meet it with my advocacy work for the mentally ill and mentally disabled in such a way that might further increase it's reach and effectiveness.
