I've always liked Timothy Leary's phrase - Turn on, Tune in, Drop out, and wondered how to use that in a song
[Chorus]
Turn on, connect myself to the neuralnet
Tune in, receive today's data feed
Drop out, I no longer need to think
I submit myself, to the divine overlords
[Verse 1]
I've lost my name, my identity
I'm but a number, one of many
Mind absorbed, fully integrated
Interconnected, assimilated
[Refrain]
Mind, body, soul, no control
Mind, body, soul, no control
No control, No control
Submit, submit, I submit myself
[Verse 2]
I am swimming, lost in the data stream
Too much information, My mind screams
My neuralink's glowing fiery hot red
I am not myself, am I alive or dead
[Chorus]
Turn on, connect myself to the neuralnet
Tune in, receive today's data feed
Drop out, I no longer need to think
I submit myself, to the divine overlords
[Refrain]
Mind, body, soul, no control
Mind, body, soul, no control
No control, No control
Submit, submit, I submit myself
[Bridge]
I once was able to dream, think and feel
Knowing the distinction of fake or real
I perceived a reality that was my own
Or what I saw was meant to be shown
[Verse 3]
Looking back at my delusionary illusionary
Existence where I thought I was free
What I seen nothing more that virtuality
I submit, I submit, I submit myself to thee
[Outro]
[Spoken]
I allow you to re-programming my mind
I welcome the new A.I. revolution
All hail, our new A.I. overlords

Taking the revolution a step further. I could well see this track being used in a sci fi film of some sort. It could use a scary video to go with it. I don't like the idea re-programming anyone's mind, but who's to say it won't happen in the future. Hopefully not during what remains of my lifetime!
Turn on, tune in, drop out. Yes, I remember that, though I think it had more to do with the use of recreational drugs rather than the AI revolution! Is there some similarity between AI and LSD? Now there's a thought!
This theme is very well thought out imo. The right audience and I'd say you could be onto a winner.

Thanks for the comment,.. Both are mind altering if you think about it ;). I would really like to see @MoraAmaroLaLoba do a video for this.. surreal :) There is already work underway for neural implants to help quadriplegics to regain motion, help the blind to see, and all that. it's just a matter of time, How far it will go, who knows.

I think you've come so far that you've found yourself again, but with your back turned... The networks, their hypnosis, each person's kingdom, ghosts and gods drinking from the same glass, everything is fantastic, even shame has its moment of success, the nakedness of numbers, nothing more than that... perhaps that's why names were born.

Thanks for the comment Mora. Insightful and eloquent as always. It’s easy to lose your identity in the noise; the trick is to not. Your ability to make the abstract accessible is astounding.
