I think it leans into soul / funk, but it feels pop/dance too, and that's no bad thing.

I'd love to hear a bit more variation in the vocal melody, and I think there's room to make that more soul/funky too if you wanted to.

I wasn't sure if the vocal was a place holder or final version, but best to post the lyrics here on TSF if you want comments on those.
