Hispanic Cartoons

Hello everyone. I'm a musician and I would like to get a feedback on my lyrics I wrote myself. It's a song about cartoons related to Hispanic heritage like El Chavo Animado, El Tigre, ¡Mucha Lucha!, The Casagrandes, Maya and Miguel, Victor and Valentino. I only finished the chorus:

El Chavo in his barrel
El Tigre got his magic
Wrestling with ¡Mucha Lucha!
La-la, la-la-la-la-la
Let's meet The Casagrandes
Maya and Miguel learning
Victor and Valentino
La-la, la-la-la-la-la

    Hi welcome,

Not many people are likely to know the cartoon characters you speak of.

The chorus as it stands becomes a list of unknowns.

You will need to use the body of the song to put some substance to the names.

Maybe start off with just four characters and build from there.

    Sid

I've never heard of any of them , You would need famous people Americans have heard of like Pancho Villa . Unless you made it a Spanish song that Hispanics have heard of

  • I think Sid and Elvis are right. There is probably a very limited audience for a song like this, relying as it does for its appeal on recognition, in English. I could be wrong. Maybe there is a subculture, as there is for anime. Otherwise, writing it in Spanish might be a better approach.

Lets assume your like me , once the YouTube vid is done , You need to hire a promotion company to get likes and comments

Unless you hired a Spanish company to do so , you'd be wasting money on Americans liking the song, As a American I have never heard of them cartoons

  • At the moment you have a list of cartoon names, but there's no message here. What do you want to say about them? Are you celebrating them? Perhaps your lyric should talk about what's great about them, how they make you feel etc.

I would like to hear the full song composed once it's done.
