Solid cover of good song from the early 70s! I enjoyed listening. Each time I hear that song, "Brandy", it reminds me of "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, and vice versa.

Amusing and humorous song, Jim. I can imagine Eric Clapton recording this back in the 70s in his "Lay Down Sally" style... or maybe Ray Stevens. π

Thank you for listening, your kind words, and your constructive suggestions, Gavin. Much appreciated! π

Very nice cover, Rene. Excellent acoustic guitar work as usual. As Gavin mentioned, I did not know Stewart recorded it first. I've never heard his version.
You could probably perform a good acoustic version of the song "Mandy" by Manilow frβ¦

Good song, with a catchy, upbeat melody. Nice work, Gavin! The sax during the middle break and outro was a nice addition. I enjoyed listening. π

Cool song, Tom! I liked it and enjoyed listening! Nice acoustic guitar work! Your lyrics paint the dreary story of the guy's troubled life. I'm sure many can relate.

I enjoyed the track commencing after the distortion effect at the beginning. In my opinion, the track from time index 0:38 to 2:56 is a solid basis for building your song. I like where you're going with it and look forward to hearing what you comβ¦

Cool track and acoustic guitar work! I think the f-bombs in the chorus and s-bomb at the end detract unnecessarily from the song, but the melody and vibe are cool.

Good find, Owen.
Here's a smooth cover of Robert Plant's classic 80s song "Big Log". Plant's original version is unmatched, but Viktor Krauss (brother of Allison) covered the song and slowed it down a notch on one his albums. His sister Alβ¦

Cool song, Tom. I sort of hear some REM influence in it.
My favorite lines in your lyrics are:
Shop windows and billboard signs greet with merry X-mas ....
Have we lost or just misplaced what the real Christmas is all about?
I don't remember this one, Joe, but you recorded a cool cover clip of it, nonetheless. As Gavin mentioned, I wasn't a fan of Led Zeppelin, but I didn't actively dislike them either and I did enjoy a few of their songs. I definitely liked Robert Pβ¦

You've composed and recorded another very enjoyable song, Haim! Great vocals, guitar work, and the simple arrangement fits the vibe of the song well! Keep the good songs coming in 2023! π
