ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

just for giggles . . . I'm thinking Em C G D all the way through used a bit differently in chorus vs. verse and for the bridge I'll figure it out. 🤪

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

There is no doctor’s note

There is no antidote

Once you’ve been bitten

Your fate is written

[Chorus]

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

Be sure you’re red-pilled

‘Cuz it’s kill or be killed

I know it sounds silly

Better go check Billy

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

If you want protection

Don’t take the injection

‘Cuz they want us dead

Or, taking more meds

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

[Bridge]

The government knows

It’s coming down the pike

The government knows

The moment it will strike

…….Zombie

Zombie Apocalypse, woo-hoo-hoo!

…….Zombie

Zombie Apocalypse, woo-hoo-hoo!

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

It’s a zombie

Zombie apocalypse

There is no doctor’s note

There is no antidote

Once you’ve been bitten

Your fate is written.

  • Feels like it might work well in a comedic style.

Was that meant to be "coming down the pipe"?

Yes, RainyDayMan, comedic style. And no, was meant to be coming down the 'pike'. But after looking the two idioms up, yes, coming down the pipe works better in context; great catch, thanks! https://www.grammarly.com/blog/commonly-confused-words/pike-vs-pipe/

And there goes my perfect rhyme throughout . . . 😪

    Have a nice day,

  • @RainyDayMan

    The government knows

    It's coming down the pipe

    The government knows

    The timing is ripe

    Keeping with my perfect rhyme.....😊

  • I think you could use pipe and strike anyway - but that's a matter of preference, I don't mind near rhymes.

  • I understand, RainyDayMan as I don't mind near rhymes either, except when the whole song is perfect rhyme and meant to be funny, I like perfect rhyme throughout. Thanks again for pipe vs. pike!
