Diving for Pearls

In a dream....I was seeing pearl divers in a warm tropical sea. Or was it something else...?

Diving for Pearls

Diving for pearls

Where whirlpools occur

Diving for pearls

In a mermaids world

Nitrogen, oxygen breathe it in slow

Cool vapors flow giving life

Reveal those intentions get lost in the game

Drift within the shadows out of sight

Reach out blind so you can see in the darkness

Atmospheres changing with each suggestion

Clamshells unfold revealing riches below

Discovery though exploration

Diving for pearls

Where whirlpools occur

Diving for pearls

In a mermaids world

Gilded excavations guiding us to gold

Laying tranquil in gentle tides

Glide cautious back to the surface

And recover there with the sun in your eyes

Diving for pearls

Where whirlpools occur

Diving for pearls

In a mermaids world

Diving for pearls

Where whirlpools occur

Diving for pearls

In a mermaids world

  • The intro sets the mood perfectly. Great lyrics & vocals which paint the picture perfectly. Liking that solo too. This is a song I'd never get fed up listening to. A great hook.

    Fabulous.😀

  • Very nice. Bit of a psychedelic vibe there. One to drift away with.

  • Lay back and let it wash over you, nice gentle piece.

    well done Steve

    luuuuuve that coooool underwater grooooove

  • Great groove and great imagery, but I think my favorite part is the guitar solo at around the 1:50 mark. Super slinky!

  • Great mood on this from the very beginning. I can picture laying back on a beach chair, just me and Jimmy Buffett somewhere in the Florida Keys, sipping on a margarita, listening to your band (or record). It's a daydream type of song. Very good.

  • Nice laid back groove, the bass line and toms remind me of water bubbling. Very atmospheric. Great song.
