Original song - I can't take another day
In this song I changed the pitch to get my voice a higher pitch. I don't know. How does it sound?

Lyrics:
I seen you there my love
Where my love?
I can't take it another day
I can't take it another day
I can't take it another day
I don't know what to do my love
It's true my love
I can't wait another day
I can't wait another day
I can't wait another day
I found a picture of you my love
It ruined my love
I can't take it another day
I can't take it another day
I can't take it another day

Guitar work is killa. A little clearer on the vocals though would be a huge enhancement. Maybe throw in a bridge around the middle of the song to break things up a bit. The song appears to be in the key of E so maybe something like:
B chord
Another day is coming.
D chord
I know the day's getting closer
E chord
Another wait will be over
Keep at it mi amigo.

Thanks for listening and your kind and helpful comments. It was just fun to do when I had a little time. It is in the key of D but the guitar solo is in E minor. Yea, I'm sophisticated. 😎

I think the same as @StoneFlowers

When you say you changed the pitch, do you mean you pitch shifted the recording afterwards? That often creates a slightly artificial sound (which is what it sounds like). Apologies if this is just you singing in a higher key.

I used the pitch effect in Audacity afterwards to increase the pitch of the whole piece, the guitar and vocals. To me it sounds a heck of a lot better than the original. I rarely do this. In this case I believe it was appropriate.

You may consider trying Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio. It's a decent DAW and not too pricey. The mastering plugins would help the quality of your sound.

I agree with @StoneFlowers - keep at it! You’ve got the bare bones of the song. I feel some instrumentation would add a lot more. I like the guitar playing. It sounds almost classical.0
