For the longest time ever I've had no songwriting mojo, so here's my first effort in a while!

I took inspiration from a photo I took whilst on holiday

I've been away so long I really can't remember how to post stuff here or if this will work!

In a picture

There’s a fire in the sky

Red, golden, green and blue

The colours of our lives

And in the distance

Behind the shadow of the sun

A crimson skyline

Declares the day is done

Step into the air

See the sunlight in her hair

Step into the air and dream

Seize the day without a care

At the foot of the mountain

As darkness falls, surrounds us all

Lights go gentle

As we sleep

And dream of a new day

Beneath the gentle kiss of the morning sun

A golden skyline

Depicts the day’s begun

Step into the air

I'll tell you how the sun rose

One flame at a time

Burning thru the darkness

Bringing each day into life

Warming bones for everyone

That feels that perfect touch

Of one we've missed right thro the night

We can never get enough
