Sweet Little Sin

Here’s a collaboration from lyrics provided by Prysmatyk. He also supplied an AI generated musical outline from which I took the chords and style and programmed into BIAB. Of course, it’s me singing 😊

There are things I would have liked to include in the production but I’m still so new at it, I couldn’t figure it out quite yet….still in the process of learning so much in all areas of writing, recording, producing!

Sweet Little Sin

[Verse 1]

Sweet little sin,

petite and thin,

luring him close

with every whim.

Entering her chamber,

leading to danger,

after her touch,

he's no longer a stranger.

[Verse 2]

Her compromise,

a delightful surprise,

hypnotic allure,

in her gaze, he sighs.

collections cascade,

thoughts softly parade,

binding his affections,

endlessly, he stayed.

[Soulful Saxophone-Solo]

Her compromise,

a delightful surprise,

hypnotic allure,

in her gaze, he sighs.

collections cascade,

thoughts softly parade,

binding his affections,

endlessly, he stayed.

[Soulful Saxophone-Solo]

[Chorus]

Hearts entwined,

time stands still,

yours and mine.

we feel the thrill.

[Verse 3]

He's captive and caged,

completely engaged,

writing words on the page.

[Verse 4]

Memories meld,

worlds where lover’s dwell,

held forever,

the story to tell.

[Chorus]

Hearts entwined,

time stands still,

yours and mine.

we feel the thrill.

  • Hey there! While reading I was a bit unsure about two sax soli. After listening I think it’s fine if you call it bridges or connectors, a solo means more to me than it is in the song.
One small thing I would change:
after her touch,-> after they touch
    Makes more sense.
You have good voice material, you can sound very smooth and clear. My advice would be: learn to do more technical stuff with your voice, so that you can use your instrument more precisely on the parts of the song.
Hope I could have been helpful!

@RainbowKeeper Thanks for your input! I am interested in improving my vocal chops. I'm rusty - it's been years since I've sung but I do wish to get them back up to snuff along with learning some vocal techniques as I never had an voice lessons. I learned from listening to other singers.

@prysmatyk You're welcome! Glad you're happy with the rendition!

  • This came out really well. They're lovely lyrics, and this is a fine rendition.

Very cool jazzy vibe! Lovely to see another collab.

@Plain_Jane Happy is an understatement, it's awesome! You can sing along with angels and match their heavenly sounds. Not much plain about it.

It transports you to some smokey joint in Casablanca and captures the mood perfectly.

Reading the lyrics, I thought challenging, but you made it sound so simple.

Well done to you both, enjoyed it very much.

Wow, what a sultry little tune, total Casablanca vibes, like Sid said. I can absolutely picture this in a black and white film in a jazz club scene. The combination of the lyrics from @prysmatyk and your own vocals really make the magic happen. Great job you two!

    @BeatlesFan64 Thank you!

  • @BeatlesFan64 It was in her delivery Tommy, words are flat without the vocal acuity to breath life into em.

Again, thank you so much for performing this @Plain_Jane
