Birds On A Beach

I'm gonna take a chance and post an instrumental. I live near the coast on Cape Cod, this one was inspired by my often hikes on the remote beaches...don''t miss the outtakes at the end...https://youtu.be/WRWshCfhEq0?si=b4DHWwe3W7R-cTIj

Lovely, took me back to Classical Gas by Mason Williams, enjoyed that, not a muso, so I'll leave the tech comments to them.
Lucky you living near such a beautiful spot.

Love the quiet reflective vibe. Very easy to relax into and drift along.

Some fabulous playing here. My acoustic playing is a bit rough and ready so it's nice to hear someone who can do it properly. It sits well with the video. Lovely stuff.😀

Miss visiting the Cape. Former Ma resident who migrated south.
I enjoyed this and it does have a classical gas aura to it as RDM mentioned.

Thanks much my friend. With your permission I'd like to take your poem called Midnight Lover and turn it into a song. The words are very compelling. It would be my usual MO, just me and a guitar.

Wasn't that one I posted to the community for use? Have at it.

Thanks. Hmm, maybe we should have a contest...an AI version against my version??

Def your version hands down. I am an old school type of person who used to consider himself an audiophile. Purist sounds make the sweetest melodies and an LP is superior to CD from the high notes. I am sure like the lp to cd the AI misses a ton of sounds. I am just grateful to have someone interested and think my writing is worthy of music.

Yeah almost done...it's a strange but beautiful tune. Got some crazy pics to go along with it

Can hardly wait to see/hear what you've done with it.

Man this is some gorgeous guitar playing. I like the contrast between the sections where you lean into more of a classical sound and the ones where you go wild with the strumming. One has the more calm, reflective vibe, as others have pointed out, while you also get the more upbeat beach party vibe as well. Really lovely composition!
