I especially wanted to give this a thumbs up given the current situation we've spoken about. I'm not sure where I'd take this musically but, again, you have a knack of writing great words about subjects many of us wouldn't dare tackle.
Forgive me for not being able to break your words down on an analytical level, but this is great.

Overall that's not bad at all. Certainly a nice set of well rounded lyrics. Was it me or did It seem a little rushed at the line "Was it good or bad, I felt this way," in the bridge. On the whole I wouldn't normally listen to AI generated music more than a couple of time. But I might just as the vocals didn't sound like they were running through a chorus pedal. lt does this have some sort of a old school vibe or something.

Thank you both, my apologies if I can't engage with you on music technicalities, my knowledge is next to zero. I have a rough idea of what would suit the lyrics and I use Ai to aim for that. I'm not very good with that either so I tend to settle for close enough.
The old school vibe might be the use of brass throughout, I loved that Hovis advert and the colliery bands!

A chorus pedal is usually a guitar pedal. It gives a modulation effect which can be used to thicken the sound. Used sparingly it can sound really nice. You can also use a chorus effect on vocals for the same purpose. I sometimes use chorus fx on my backing vocals.

I'm not too hot at analyzing lyrics, and I know next to nothing about AI, but singing, playing/programing instruments and the recording process in general is where my heart is.

This song illustrates the differences between Suno and Udio.
Udio is much more tedious to operate but it gives you a wider range of vocals and more flexibility to make changes and extend songs. Cudos!
