  • It doesn't really work for me, but I'm not huge on a lot of the modern worship songs that seem to repeat the same seven words eleven times (7/11 songs). The message is nice, but I just don't think there's enough there.

  • I like the structure. I can see it working in a modern style. The repetition used consistently gives it a cohesion.

  • I'm with @DanTyler and @JayDub - It's not for me either.

    Perhaps because I don't write songs about religion. Just my choice - I have absolutely nothing against anyone who does.

  • Katie, religion like politics need an angle not just a message. You'll either be preaching to the converted or flogging a dead horse.

    Tell a good story but leave the message to the outro!
