For the people Lyrics

God Bless America

Gudda crawl before you walk
Gudda walk before you run
Listen to God
Like he holds a gun

To your head
Is the message that is said

In the Bible
I still believe in the disciples

Though the media got it wrong
Watching tonight tear down someone strong

There is a two tire system of justice
Watching trumps trial tonight
Made me notice this

Still can't pinpoint the charges spued
Watching this corrupt trial is worse than family feud

I write when I have to hold back
It saves me from having a fatal heart attack

    Hi Kayla813,

I believe our songs directly benefit from the amount of passion and emotion we put into them.

I enjoy your songs because it's clear you put your heart and soul into them all.

    Keep them coming.

    Sid

  • This feels like an outpouring of your feelings. I think you have some good material to work with, but it doesn't yet feel like it's been shaped and crafted into a song.

I'd look for a hook, a central idea to build around. What phrase might sum up what you want to say? Can you turn it into a chorus?

How can you set up the context for the song? Could you describe the courthouse scene or something that takes us into the drama. That would be a nice verse 1 to start with.

    Yes u seem determined

    I would study his book

You can't just say GOD Bless America , Without building blocks to pay it off .

Yes political songs will be pounded along as the election gets nearer.

The ( secret to life) " is probably moving to a small town on a lake . You'll never write a political song again.

Jesus will have to send you a email " I know you are busy fishing , but I'm thinking about coming back"

With that book, You'll jump ahead of the pack by about 400% or more .

"The Blue Book Of Grammar" is also important by two-fold.1/ lyrics that make sense. 2/ communication skills.
