Soundcloud is full of scams , I don't use them anymore , I use Heartis now , but they mean nothing to me , there is no ROI on any of them sites . They're all vanity sites they want money for spins with no ROI

I do use Soundcloud, though I may move on soon. I'm wary of the various messages you get offering to promote your tracks in one way or another. Best to ignore them. As Elvis says, there's a lot of scams and I don't see Soundcloud doing much about them. Also, I've never been able to fathom out how the Soundcloud play counter works. Sometimes I get hardly any plays at all, whereas other times it's way more than I'd expect. It doesn't matter too much to me as I'm not trying to make money or build a career, but I certainly don't trust it. I currently pay a subscription to Soundcloud but I don't think I'm getting any real benefit from it.
I use Audiomack for my collaborations and I'm quite impressed with it. It's not as well known as Soundcloud but it works in a similar way. I use the free version and it seems fine. The UI is decent too. I'm tempted to move everything there.

I won't pretend that I understand what's happening here, but my reservations about the use of AI in music (and in general) are taking on a new twist. I have a feeling that I'm rather late waking up to the potential dangers.

This is my feeling on ai overall. It has uses for guidance through specific subject matter such as understanding things like grammar misuse or punctuation where it will relay the 'why' of it to you, but for creation of something such as literature, music or any of the fine arts, I am against it. Sure let it proof-read your drafts and provide suggestions if you want, but I would beg anyone and everyone not to let it create for you or revise your words or depths of emotion. Even if it is more profoundly expressing what you desire to convey. Your expression is YOU and you alone. No AI or computer can match what you are even if the damn thing is smarter and knows more than you'd ever learn. It mimics and regurgitates from algorithmic datasets and can never truly create.
In closing, I penned this about 6 months ago and feel it sums it all up.
"Inseminate the womb of imagination with your creativity and your soul will flourish"
