Waiting On A Train (Collab with mark alan skinner)
Hi Folks . . . greetings from Canada, haven't posted a song here in while, great to see so much activity, and adding Chris Price as a moderator, brilliant.
This song is a collaboration with Mark Alan Skinner (southern USA), a talented guitarist (etc) I met on an internet song forum.
I had this strumming acoustic guitar piece in my studio for a while , and just couldn't take it much further. Was trying to record a sampled mandolin part, which wasn't working right . . . so I sent a mix to Mark, who can actually play a mandolin ! Well, a few weeks go by and Mark recorded an acoustic guitar, a mandolin, and an upright bass . . . yeah, that's me singing and strum whacking acoustic guitar in the background. What can I say, the song got transformed. Let us know what you think.

This track is awesome. I love that guitar pickin' and the mandolin - wish I could do that. But what really wins me over is the superb harmonies. There's some nice chord progressions too. What a great way to start my day. No crits from me.😀

The song keeps changing, but it still holds together with an integrated feel.
Love the into to match up with that first line. And bookended with an outro.

Mind-bendingly good acoustic guitar intro - starting out with the deep country blues. The vocal has a lot of winning energy.
