stuck on you like glue

Stuck on you like glue
Verse
I was an eagle in the sky.
I was free as the wind.
I’d seduce them and I’d leave them
Never see them again.
Pre chorus
I was running from love, running from love
When I ran into you.
Now I couldn’t leave if I was to try.
I’m stuck on you like glue.
Chorus
Stuck on you, stuck on you.
Stuck on you like glue.
Verse
I was a tiger on the prowl.
Free to do as I pleased.
I was a hit and run driver.
I’d use them and I’d leave.
Pre chorus
I was running from love, running from love
When I ran into you.
Now I couldn’t leave if I was to try.
I’m stuck on you like glue.
Chorus
Stuck on you, stuck on you.
Stuck on you like glue.
Bridge
Here I am looking at rings.
Here I am on my knees.
Here I am at your mercy.
Wanting you to love me.

    Impressive Carroll, really good.

I was a hit and run driver.

I’d use them and I’d leave.

    Inspired!

    Carroll,

Have you thought any more about using Ai for your songs?

They really are far too good to be gathering dust and I for one,

would love to hear your words come to life, albeit it, even if it is by Dr Frankenstein.

  • A friend sent me an ap but I’m not up to speed. Everything I post is open for collaboration Ai or otherwise
  • Appreciate your kindness.
  • @carroll . . . this has all the makings of a great up tempo rock song, though, I'm not sold on that BRIDGE section.

Here I am looking at rings.

Here I am on my knees.

Here I am at your mercy.

    Wanting you to love me.

. . . was thinking maybe the beat of the snare goes to half time, then something like this ?

Now I'm at the store, looking at rings

I never know what the next day brings

    Mercy me . . . I'm at your mercy

I just want you to love me

. . . I'm hearing it as a story about a rock'n'roller who finally finds love, and is confused about what to do . . . so, the makings of a good rock song . . . my tendency would be to soften some lines like "I’d seduce them and I’d leave them" and "I’d use them and I’d leave." . . . it's a tough one, because personally I would find it harder to sing those lines . . . but after all, if you keep with the character you've portrayed, it is kind of about a reformed rock'n'roller . . . just ideas and food for thought . . . I definitely hear a great up tempo rock song in my head, when reading your lyric on this one . . .

  • Feel free to change it up anyway you’d like.
  • or one night and I would flee
