Her Malevolence (early demo version)

Greetings! This is an early demo of a song I'm working on, which will accompany my forthcoming fictional horror novel. The vocals are toss-away at this stage. I'm still working out how I want to sing certain parts, especially the opening lines of the verses -- probably more forceful and in a lower range. Over the next month, I'll add more drum fills, a guitar solo in the middle, and record the vocals again, including ad-libs during the outro. I'm trying a new mixing technique in Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio, so I'm curious to know how the mix itself sounds, if anyone cares to comment about that.

The song is about a dark, omnipotent, and beautiful enchantress named Hedra, who exacts vengeance against a wicked young woman who stole another woman's husband and destroyed her life. I should have a video with a much better demo by Halloween! 😀
