Don't know where this comes from, would be happy for any advice to improve it, and for someone to do something with it.

    I'm not the best at evaluating lyrics if I'm honest, but I'm liking what I see here. The 'skyyyy/Prideee thing tells me that you have some ideas for the music to go with this. Another very personal lyric I think, and I respect that. Keep em comin' Katie.😀

    There's lots of room around those lyrics, which should lend itself to a moody, wistful kind of sound.

    I think the lyric will appeal to a lot of people unsure of their way.

    As a minor thing you might consider swapping: joyful dancers  → joyful dances

    Thank you, yes after singing it out loud- I think that dances works better, without having to say the extra " r"

    Thanks Chris! This was a real co-operative effort with Katie contributing to the song structure and melody as well. Very pleased with how it came out.

    Always great to see some lyrics jump off the page into a song, my only minor crit would be . . . crank the bass guitar ! (is there one ?)

    Thinking Katie has a real knack for emotive song lyrics, as I have read here on the forum, and I think this one turned out excellent !

    @popitup In the verses, the elec guitar is doing a bass run anyway. I tried putting one in, but it just seemed to compete. So I substituted the bowed double bass sound more as an atmospheric. There is an actual bass in the chorus though. It's something that Katie and I discussed too.

    Art & all that it encompasses is unique. Those who have been fortunate II (to) have been bestowed with the gift should count themselves blessed. Whether it be a painter, a poet or a musician we all have that something.

    Rainbows in The Sky is a grower. It took quite a few listens II (to) appreciate the artistry behind the collab. Great soundtrack, backed up by a cool lyric.  -" GOD leaving a note.......", ".......Cinderella find her shoes..." - magic

    I urge all aficionados II (to) give this one a listen. You will not be disappointed.
