MORNING MAN

[Verse 1]

Morning man, what's your plan, what's your point of view?

In the morning when you wake, is the day brand new?

Morning man, what's your plan, say what do you see?

Is it love from above, and is there any love for me?

[Chorus]

Would you like to be a morning man?

Sell you a ticket to the world you know

Would you like to be in on the scam?

Yes, and it's time to get on with the show

[Instrumental]

[Verse 2]

Where do you come up with these strange ideas?

I don't know and I have no answers

Where are you going, do you have any fears?

Just that I'm an ordinary man

And I have no answers for you

[Instrumental]

[Chorus]

Morning man, what's your plan, what's your point of view?

In the morning when you wake, is the day brand new?

Morning man, what's your plan, say what do you see?

Is it love from above and is there any love for me?

  • So in the first verse you make a statement, then in the second verse you change to question / response. I think the lyrics would be better if you picked one and kept it consistent. also, not sure why you have verse 1 as the chorus for the end. if anything, make it an outro. Not sure what you mean by morning man? Also, what strange Ideas? In the first verse you speak of love, then switch gears in the second verse by talking about strange ideas and fears. I think the problem I have is that you know what you mean, but I don't think that's being expressed effectively. at least not for me.
