Interesting article about how playing an instrument and singing keeps the brain healthy as we age. So @ElvisNash pick up that guitar and keep singing buddy:

Aww heck you're a great guitar player with a beautiful voice and a deep gut feel for writing, you'll be sane to the end. Now how bout a new song or two?

Now, I only sing, and can't play any instrument unless you consider castanets an instrument. BUT. . . are they saying if I learned to play an instrument, my sanity might return? Sounds worthwhile, but it also sounds like a lot of work. AND, what if I'm already too far gone to learn? :o)

Well you know the old saying...if you can't play, and you're too far gone...drink wine! 😆

If you've got the time, why not give it a go? - learning a new instrument I mean! What have you got to lose? Learning anything helps keep the brain sharp.
